Miami to the Everglades by airboat, wildlife show, and roundtrip bus. Spot alligators up close in about 4 hours for $49.
“This tour picks up and drops off in downtown Miami, which was very convenient. There was not much of a tour on the bus drive over, the bus driver was quite standoffish, and everyone was confused when we arrived at the park due to a lack of organization or clear instructions about what to do and when. The airboat tour was cool, the wildlife show was meh (felt weirdly exploitative of the animals). Overall the value was in the transportation from the city for those visiting Miami without a car.”
3-hour St. Pete sunset cruise with Shell Key Preserve wildlife, a Sand Dollar Island shell walk, and Skyway Bridge light show.
“Fun and relaxing. Nice boat. Great host! You get a different perspective of St Pete from the water, including skyway bridge.”
Luau Kalamaku at Kilohana Plantation in Kauai, with lei greeting, buffet dinner, open bar, and an award-winning Polynesian show with fire poi.
“Everyone is very gracious from the bus driver to the entertainers! The show is great & wonderful food! We really enjoyed ourselves!”
Waikiki luau buffet with Rock-a-Hula show, VIP options, pineapple and Mai Tai. Plan an easy, centrally located evening in Oahu.
“Customer Service was good. However, there was a lot of waiting to transition to the next thing. The dancers were very mediocre and low energy. The MJ impersonator was the best performer however his set was very small.”
Escape Reality Magic Dinner Show in Branson combines mind-bending illusions, audience participation, and a 3-course dinner at Hughes Brothers Theatre.
“Show was very entertaining. And the dinner and service was awesome. Very interactive with the crowd all seemed to have a good time.”
Moab Colorado River dinner cruise with Dutch-oven meal, guided stories, and a classic sound-and-light show on canyon rock.
“Loved the light show with the narration and our guide. She was so much fun. The captain did a great job getting there and back in the dark.”
Ka Moana Lūʻau at Aloha Tower mixes an oceanfront Polynesian show, hula and lei making, and an island buffet with a big fire dance.
“Overall great experience that I’m glad I found. However, one major critique I have is that there was not enough food. It was advertised as a buffet but the food did not stay out for a long time. At least an announcement could have been made from the front about last call before the show starts. When my partner and I went back to grab more, we were told “there’s no more food”. That’s unacceptable given what we paid for the experience. A buffet implies endless access to the food.”
Star of Honolulu sunset dinner cruise with 5-course lobster or steak, Champagne toast, live Hawaiian music, and a cultural show over Waikiki.
“We were on the SOH 3 years ago, & have to say we enjoyed that experience much more. For as expensive as it is, there needs to be more servers to clear & deliver food & beverages. Some people around us got dinner only 30 minutes before the show & departure. Our table was constantly full of dirty dishes & beverages took very long to get to us. Our server was so sweet, but she needed backup. Otherwise, we would have enjoyed it much more. The food was good & show was great. Staff was very nice too, just needed more of them for the size of the ship.”
See Reza Edge of Illusion in Branson, a 2-hour English show with interactive stage magic, comedy, and big production effects.
“Reza blew our minds and showed my children the joy of magic. We stayed a week at Branson and my kids (6/8) voted Reza as their favorite show while here”
Every kind of day out, and the best of each.
